Annual Season Opening OC6, Small Boat (OC1/2, Sufski, K1 etc) Races

At the Victoria Canoe & Kayak Club (see map below)

Saturday, 10 April for OC6 Sprints starting 0900 hours, and finishing before 1700 hours;

Sunday, 11 April for Small Boat Races starting at 0900 hours, and finishing about noon.

Participants must make separate registrations for multiple gender entries.

*Notes:All participants must be CORA members.

OC 6 Sprint Races (CORA approved)

Two heats of 1000 meters in two lanes around one buoy at 500 meters. Each team's time total will result in awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the following 5 categories.
(Minimum of 3 teams per category):

Juniors <=19
Adult Women, Men, and Mixed Open
Senior Masters Mixed =>50

Small Boat Races

The Race Director will determine which events to hold based on registrations and interest, identify the race course for each event and schedule the starting time of the races.
