July 5th will be the first of the General Membership BBQ evenings that take place on the 1st Tuesday of July & August, as substitution for the monthly general membership meeting.

This year the 1st BBQ evening on July 5th will feature a scavenger hunt. Meet at the clubhouse outside of the basement door at 5:30pm to receive your list of clues. First to finish wins! All boat types welcome. Work in solo, in pairs, or as a team in an OC6, voyageur, or dragon boat.

Bring something to share and something for yourself to BBQ at 7:00pm after the scavenger hunt paddle.

The July event is sponsored by the Marathon Canoe program and will feature a Scavenger Hunt beginning at 5:30, with BBQ and potluck to follow at 7:00pm.

During the prime paddling months of July and August, there is a BBQ and get-together open to all members and the public on the  1st Tuesday of the month at the clubhouse instead of a General Membership Meeting. 

Sometimes a short, recreational paddle is organized before the BBQ begins - updates will be added to this event as we get closer.

The August BBQ evening will be organized by the Dragonboat program.
