Crabbing clinic classroom session

Fishing for crab is an economical and very tasty skill to have. The Father’s Day weekend allows residents to go fishing/crabbing without obtaining a license, providing you with an opportunity to try out the sport at no cost. 

Classroom -  Wednesday  7 till 8:30 PM at the clubhouse covers:

  • Why crab?
  • All about crabs
  • Federal regulations
  • Fishing methods
  • Traps & Baits
  • Other gear
  • Paddling considerations
  • Cooking methods
  • Trip planning (8 PM)
  • Potluck (sides) organization

Some crab traps and related equipment will be available to borrow, allowing you to try your luck without investing in gear.
