A general idea for timeline...we'll be starting to decorate the boats around 3-5 and we plan to be on the water by 5.  We may paddle for an hour, then return to the clubhouse, put the boats away, and begin the potluck around 6:30-ish.

It's back!  Our Christmas lighted paddle on the Gorge, followed by a potluck Christmas party.  Start planning how you're going to light your canoe/kayak/SUP.  Our last one in 2019 had some epic displays.  Glowsticks work well, solar lights also.

December means ... lighted boat parade and Christmas potluck! We are back live and in person on Saturday December 10 from 3pm-9:30pm at the clubhouse. It's been a few years since we were able to do this, so for those of you who are unfamiliar with the details here you go:

We are going to light up our canoes, kayaks, and SUPs with Christmas lights and paddle along the Gorge, maybe even singing Christmas carols. What to use for lights? Glowsticks work well, outdoor solar lights also. See what you can come up with and join us at the clubhouse to share some fun!

When we get back to the clubhouse we'll put the boats away and enjoy a wonderful potluck dinner to celebrate the season. It's always a good time when we share food, isn't it?
