This is the Level 1 Kayak Course for individuals who have completed the Basic Course and have at least six months paddling experience. There will be a Zoom session during the week before the course.

All participants are required to adhere to all Provincial Covid mandates at the time of the course.

Participants will require appropriate clothing, which will include a wet or dry suit as you will be in the water for the recovery session. If you have your own PFD that would be ideal, however, it you need to borrow one from the Club that can be arranged. Participants can either use their own boats and safety equipment or reserve a club kayak. mailto:kayakbooking@vckc.ca

Participants will be required to properly clean any equipment that is used at the end of the session. This usually takes a half an hour each day.

Payment must be received at time of booking your spot or it will not be guaranteed.

There is limited places for purchasing food around the Club so it is best that you bring a lunch, snacks and beverages.
