Private course for Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club (VCKC) and South Island Paddling Society (SIPS).

Sunday April 2nd and April 7-10 as needed to meet standards, expectations and needs of both the course and the participants.

The course will cover all the requirements for both the Basic and Advanced certification. April 2nd will be used to assess skills, determine individual goals and develop the agenda for the following four days.

Paddling experience is strongly recommended. The course will include canoeing skills (both Tandem and Solo), canoe rescues, teaching methods, group management and group safety.

Successful participants will have the opportunity to achieve certification as a RCABC Basic or Advanced Tandem and Solo Instructor.

Instructor recertifications are welcome.
