The Vancouver Island A Stroke Ahead team is gearing up for the 2026 season!

They are getting their first  learn to paddle session underway on Sunday March 29th. 

Things to know for your session:

• Dress in comfortable "active wear" clothing, in a couple of layers based on the anticipated weather
• Bring a water bottle
• A hat and/or sunglasses are often nice to have, depending on weather
• There will be some water splashes, you may get a little wet - it's a water sport after all!
• If you have your own PFD (personal floatation device) or dragon boat paddle, please do bring them with you. Otherwise, we have plenty of club equipment to use.
