All paddlers MUST be full CORA members.  Note – we do not accept a day membership fee  
2    All medical information or special needs information must be emailed to commodore@vypc.ca
3    Waiver must be completed for each paddler and and then emailed to commodore@vypc.ca
4.    Cost: $200.00 covers the race fee and escort boat
5.    Registration deadline is July 18th, 2026 at 5:30 pm. Please note, registration is limited to 3 OC6’s & 1 OC4. Registration will be closed early if all available spaces are full.
6.    You must etransfer the clinic fee by July 31st, 2026 to accounts@vypc.ca
7.    Registration after this date/time will only be accepted if there is space available in the racing grid.
8.    Swimming experience is mandatory 
9.    Each paddler must be able to enter a canoe from the water without assistance
10.    The stern must have experience as a stern in a change race.  This must be validated by the stern’s coach.  
11.    Huli experience is mandatory for all paddlers.  This is important as most novice crews ignore this ruling. Please ensure you all know how to recover from a huli and get back into the canoe in a timely way.
